Focus

In order to have the possible building type needed for the design and use of the Activity wing and Animal Assisted Therapy Center, I chose designing an expansion of the construction documents for the existing Conservatory of the Two Sisters, and the existing Lath House. As of right now, the Conservatory is used as a greenhouse and cannot be used in the same way for Spirit Gardens. In keeping with historic rules and regulations, I will mimic the historic attributes from the existing Pavilion of the Two Sisters, and use them on the existing Conservatory. As for the Lath House, I must create a usable indoor space to allow for Animal Assisted Therapy activities to be properly run and housed. In the end, these changes will further enable guests of Spirit Gardens to emotionally heal their pains and struggles of Cancer.
