Capstone Project

When considering this independent study project, I am excited to educate myself on just one minute way of designing for the sole benefit of helping others in their struggles and pains, such as Cancer. I will be able to use the appropriate research information of different healing techniques for Cancer victims in order to offer a quality recovery process through design. The main goal I have is giving people a resting place and refuge during treatment fazes at local hospitals who otherwise do not have the means necessary to stay in a comfortable environment during their process to recovery. I am looking forward for this project to teach me more about the nonprofit world and what all I can do as an Interior Designer to help organizations out with my design capabilities all in the hopes of helping the community as a whole.
